The Pearl Akoya

The Pearl Akoya offers a very compact housing but sounds like a full-range speaker thanks to its tri-coaxial design and specific bass speaker. The advantages of the revolutionary tri-coaxial system are significant. All music notes arrive perfectly on time to the listener because this system actually behaves as one large speaker unit. From the deepest bass to the highest notes, they all come from the same unit. The result is a nearly perfect stereo image, creating the feeling of being present at the original performance.  

The Pearl Akoya was developed and built in the Cabasse factory in Brittany, northern France. The goal was to achieve musicality and power comparable to an acoustically unamplified classical orchestra in a compact design.  

The very powerful amplifiers are custom-designed for the Akoya and are invisibly integrated. The ease of use is unparalleled, simply plug it in and play.

Versatile active speaker

The Akoya is a versatile active speaker and offers advanced features such as voice control and multi-room applications, in addition to the most common streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and Qobuz. It is also possible to connect other analog sources, such as a turntable or a TV.  

The Akoya integrates perfectly with the StreamControl Cabasse multi-room system. This system allows you to play the same music in multiple rooms simultaneously or different music on your Cabasse WiFi speakers.  

The sound can be redistributed from a Bluetooth® connection or from the sound input to multi-room. It enables hubless HD streaming technology with a latency of only 80 microseconds.  

Enjoy playing all your digital audio file formats, from mp3 files to ultra-high definition PCM and DSD files. Stored at home on hard drives/computers and/or via streaming services and internet radio.  

Although the control will mainly be done through the Cabasse App, an ergonomically designed Bluetooth remote control with a refined finish is also included. With this, you can easily and intuitively control the speaker wirelessly: adjust the volume by turning the ring, select the input type, play and pause, and select a radio station or your favorite piece of music.

Cabasse CRCS 'Room Calibration System'

Just like its big ultra-high-end brother La Sphère, this The Pearl Akoya features the highly advanced CRCS calibration system. The patented and automated room correction system with integrated microphone and using very precise digital parametric filters. This algorithm also identifies the "weakened" spectral bands, which are then compensated for. The bass level is automatically adjusted to the placement of the speakers in your space. This achieves optimal acoustics regardless of the listening environment.
